Music Suggestion Thread

LOL. What the hell do you listen to anyway?

In the words of Verc's tape "Black Boy Music" but not near as much as i used to. Probably prefer 80's pop type stuff, GWN's playlist. Not a country fan but i like Zac Brown Band.

There is if you look for it. Not a ton of great stuff. It ain't the 90's, most definitely, but it ain't mid-2000's when Lil Wayne was considered the GOAT.

Lil Wayne was never even the GOAT of Hot Boys. I know you weren't saying he was.

I gladly can say I never bought in even while my best friend was bumpin Tha Carter III so much that I knew almost every word. And not by choice.

I got ScHoolboy Q's new album. It's solid, it's darker than when you first listen to it, but it's not where it should be.

I applaud what a lot of lyrical artists do. I'm huge into wordplay, the way lines are set up, etc. and think that is a talent.

With that being said, 85% of rap now-a-days is garbage. I've never understood why every one loves Jay-Z either. I'm not saying he's bad, I just never thought he was as good as people made him out to be

I like him

There are some seriously talented rappers out there, unfortunately they are few and far between w/ all the trash out there. 90's rap was really good IMO. Maybe if rap wasn't so damn image based, they could put more time into the actual "music".

Got some R&B going today. Trey Songs (older stuff), Usher (older), Avant, Jagged Edge...

Got me feelin' some kinda way
