Alright, I believe we booted Sherholtz to make room for the "baseball genius" Frank Wren who was supposed to revive the Braves after they missed the playoffs after 14 consecutive years. This season, the Braves had $40,000,000 to spend on players for contracts just this year. What moves has he made? He brought in Vasquez, a decent move at best. He brought in a backup catcher in Dave Ross. Finally, he talked Lance Niekro, whose never pitched before, to come to spring training as a non-roser invitee. The man can't pull the trigger on any deal. He had Furcal AND Burnett ready to come here for the physical to finalize the deal, and lost both of them by less than $2,000,000. I want a GM that has the balls to finalize a deal, how about you?
