The Braves' best chance to win the NL East is for the Mets' old and/or shaky starting pitching to implode, and here's step one. Hernandez has pitched well so far. He'll be replaced by Chan Ho Park, who hasn't pitched particularly well in a long time. No word yet on how long Hernandez might be out.

Yeah, that's not exactly what you want the next option to be. Imagine who they might have to throw out there if Glavine got hurt.

The Mets have a great lineup, but I don't understand why they haven't spent some of that money on at least one proven starting pitcher who's not over 40 and/or brittle.
