Had to change my registration to a half marathon instead of the full. Just cannot get my stomach issues under control on the long runs. Not sure what is going on.
Hanging in there. Ran 13 last week in 1:57. Would like to be a little faster than that through the first 13, but still almost 2 months to go.
This week is a de-load week and then it really ramps up. Will probably run my 10 this week on Thanksgiving day.
Ah…well…no I was at light heavy. They let me go a class down since I was within a couple pounds. LOL. Thanks though.
In my defense, though, I was against dudes in their 30s.

I won my first two fights and lost in the finals. I was so gassed going into the final fight that I had nothing left for the guy. Credit to him, but I wish I had been in better shape. That tournament cardio is another level.
Also got promoted to blue belt, so overall a great day.
Know everyone is in the thread on the mothership, but…
status update: made weight but didn’t drop to light heavy. Came in at 198. Will have to see what they do with me but probably going to be rolling with the big boys tomorrow.
As luck would have it…I am the only one in my weight class and rank in the masters division who signed up for this tournament. Which means I either go up in weight or see if they will let me go down. If I go down, I’ll have to be at 195, which means cutting 5-6 pounds by Saturday. If I go up...
