contract year, seems like he is trying to hit a hr every at bat

seems like he'll suffer money wise with this performance this year. He needs to get up to the plate and just hit instead of swinging so hard he buckles to the ground.

Chipper scores on a single by Diaz. Braves mounting a comeback. Braves down 6-1

Braves have the tieing run to the plate in the top of the 9th in the form of Andruw Jones. 2 outs

Andruw's terrible right now, but he goes through this at least once every year. He'll come around.

The Red Sox are the best team in baseball right now. Losing 2 out of 3 to them isn't a disaster by any means. It would have been nice if the god-cursed Yankees could have helped out by beating the Mets, though.
