The Somewhat Serious Discussion Thread

How are things @TBreazy
We are moved into the new house. I will never find anything I’m looking for again in my life and we will be unboxing for a while but my kids and dogs and wife love it. We have a little land, very quiet cove, kids everywhere. No cars, no light noise. So far so awesome.

Been an adventure getting here but closed on both homes and couldn’t be more blessed. Back to work tho

We are closing on another house next month. It’s a bank owned, former tenants weren’t able to make the payments and let me tell ya, this is my first foreclosure and it’s been brutal. Took 4 weeks to get it under contract.

I did that once before myself. Never again.

And get this, the State of Tennessee has a clause where the previous owners can buy the place back at anytime within a 2 year window if they can come up with all back owed mortgage and the cost that we paid. Highly, highly unlikely that that happens but still not a fun thought.

Hope y’all are doing well and hanging in.

My back has finally given up the ghost, I think. I’ve been battling degenerative disc disorder for almost 10 years and had to go back to the doc a couple weeks ago with a really bad flare up. Got a new x-ray and MRI. I have three herniated discs and one bulging disc, with one herniation being ruptured. It’s infringing on the nerve canals and the sciatic pain in my left leg is almost unbearable at times. I go back this Thursday to the local ortho doc to discuss the results. I’ve also made an appointment with the University of Florida spinal institute, but it’s not until May.

I had hoped to wait until I retired to deal with this but I’m not going to make it. Hopefully I can get something done soon. Looking forward to being pain free for the first time in a very long time.
