I still think it sucks that Maddux had to leave. I don't know whether it really would have made sense to resign him or not, but the with the artificial payroll limitations TW imposed on Schuerholz it was never even a possibility. It's certainly tough to sit here tonight watching him pitch against us, knowing what the bottom half of the Braves' rotation looks like.
